Year Zero

Admin's avatarConsent Factory, Inc.

2020 was GloboCap Year Zero. The year when the global capitalist ruling classes did away with the illusion of democracy and reminded everyone who is actually in charge, and exactly what happens when anyone challenges them.

In the relatively short span of the last ten months, societies throughout the world have been transformed beyond recognition. Constitutional rights have been suspended. Protest has been banned. Dissent is being censored. Government officials are issuing edicts restricting the most basic aspects of our lives … where we can go, when we can go there, how long we are allowed to spend there, how many friends we are allowed to meet there, whether and when we can spend time with our families, what we are allowed to say to each other, who we can have sex with, where we have to stand, how we are allowed to eat and drink

EXPLOSIVE: Great Reset? No, Great Re-write

A fairly tale for adults

John Ward's avatarThe Slog

The Slog sets out to investigate why one naff poem went around the World, and discovers more than he bargained for….in the shape of mysterious authorship, suspicious branding, rewriting of history, and familiar suspects involved in its success. It’s not one for the faint-hearted.

I’m going to embed here a YouTube video which has been up since May this year – when Covid19 was still being billed as The Grim Reaper by Fauci, Ferguson, Horby, Biden Associates. Bear that in mind as you watch it: it’s only 3.5 minutes long. I beg of you, watch it and listen to every word.

Seven months up on YouTube and still not taken down: must be something of a record. But this piece of 100%-proof pernicious Soviet-style propaganda is still up because that’s exactly where Google wants it to be.

Its basic tenet is that life was awful before Covid came along, but…

Meaningful Meditation

Thank you for putting these thoughts in to words as they are shared by many. If only we took the time and had the talent to write them down.

Philosophical days will appear again, that’s the prayer

Today looks contemplative and evenly timed; a contrasting reflection

Of the enduring chaos, the pain and confrontations of ideologies

Didactic lectures from misinterpreted ideas changed everything erroneously

Infantile fascinations, no effort can elevate the thoughts anymore

Unclean time runs through the numerous channels deep in the earth

There is a connection between complicated downfall and rushed changes

An air so eager to allow the souls to breathe in a virtuous environment

Readers’ wildlife photos — Why Evolution Is True

A dash of colour in all that grey.

gabrieleromano's avatarGabriele Romano

My store of wildlife photos has depleted to the point where I’m a bit worried. Please send in your good photos! Today’s contributor is Joe Routon, who sent “street photos”—if photos of Auschwitz can be called that. Joe’s captions are indented: These are some of the photos I made a few years ago in Auschwitz…

The Unseen Downfall

Amitav Chowdhury's avatarAmitav Chowdhury

Simple emotions appear to be bland under the dispirited sky

When the weather is influenced by the multitude of sighs

Like menacing clouds blanketing the earlier euphoria of life

Curtailing time slyly from the daily allowance; stealing dreams too

Unaware, until they are long gone and a sense of despair settle down

Like a heavy bowl displacing water, but unwilling to drown

Stirring restlessness audaciously affects the temper of daily thoughts

Fighting off the clouds of melancholy like a struggling warrior

With inadequate defense from the unseen forces, time collapses
